CGI through the years
Our continued growth for over 40 years is due to the trust of our clients, the dedication of our consultants, and the sound principles on which CGI was founded and the resilient business model that has allowed us to maintain them.
1976 – 1986
Serge Godin founded CGI in June 1976 in Quebec City, Canada. A few months later, André Imbault joined, and they committed to founding the company based on a common dream: "To create an environment where we can work happily together and contribute to building a company that we can be proud to own."
The name CGI is an acronym for "Conseillers en gestion et informatique" in French, which means information systems and management consultants. In English, it stands for "Consultants to Government and Industry."
During CGI's first decade, a growing team of talented individuals who joined the company helped craft the company's philosophy and beliefs. These were documented in the CGI Articles of Association, which encompassed CGI's "dream," "mission," "vision," and "values." CGI's business strategy was and still is inextricably linked to helping our clients succeed, providing fulfilling career opportunities for our members, and sustaining long-term growth for our shareholders. This strategy requires creating a financially sound environment in which all key stakeholders - clients, members, and shareholders - can thrive.
From the beginning, we implemented a performance-based management and monitoring system across all functions to enable us to quickly identify and address opportunities. With strong, accountable leadership with the right level of delegation, the company expanded rapidly.
At this time, the IT service market was in the dawn. Demand for IT services has evolved to include new types of demands, such as fixe d-price contracts and system integrated contracts. The CGI has evolved from a consulting company to a consulting and system integration company.

1986 – 1996

1996 – 2006

- In 1998, the CGI concluded the largest outsourcing agreement in Canada at the time by merging with Bell Sygma, which increased the size of the company by about twice.

2006 – 2016

Advancement is a method of gradually leading new players to minecraft and giving them the tasks to be achieved, similar to the basic system of Bedrock Edition's achievements.

Obtaining [ ]
Advanced can be achieved in any game mode and is acquired and saved for each world. Advanced can also be granted (and canceled) with the /Advancement command.
Advanced logically leads to players, but they are independent of each other. There are 110 advances: 16 on the minecraft tab, 24 on the Nether tab, 9 on the End tab, 35 on the Adventure tab, and 26 on the Husbandry tab.
If the game rule AnnounceAdVancements is set in True, the message is displayed in the chat. The color of the header text displayed in the notification varies depending on the advanced, the header text is yellow for normal advanced and goal advanced, and the header text is pink in the challenge advanced. The button to access the advanced screen is on the pose menu screen. Players can open this screen by pressing the L button (this can be changed in the i n-game optional menu).
The advanced system has several trees composed of advanced, and each tree begins with route advanced and branches into several branches. By clicking and dragging players, you can see various branches in the promotion tree. Each tree is classified into different tabs (defined by route advancement).
