In addition to traditional bracelet events, WSOP also holds lower ba y-i n-level events through the series. The Daily Deep Stack Event usually gathers large participants, and the winners are paid a 5-digit prize. These bracelets are held every day from May 28 to July 16, with a ba y-in from $ 200 to $ 400.

At Live Satellite, Daily Land Mark Mega Satellite is held from May 28 to July 15, with a maximum of $ 25, 000, up to $ 135. These are wonderful ways to get a tournament seat at a great price.

Additionally, the WSOP's official guaranteed seat qualifying series, the Main Event Maine, will take place in May at official partner casinos and cardrooms around the world. Here are some of them: Horseshoe St. Louis, Grand Victoria Casino Elgin, Harrah's Cherokee, Horseshoe Tunica, Harrah's Pompano Beach, Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Turning Stone Resort Casino, Horseshoe Las Vegas, Foxwoods Resort Casino, and Graton Casino and Resort. Many more international live qualifiers will be announced in the coming days.

Online Poker & Qualifiers

Online poker in the United States is only legal on a state-by-state basis. Luckily for WSOP players, online gaming is legal in Nevada. WSOP. com is the official online poker operator of the WSOP in the United States and is the only operator in each state. Players are actually pooled with players from New Jersey, making for a larger player pool and prize pool.

Nevada players can participate in online bracelet events throughout the series that also include players from New Jersey. Signing up is easy, and players can fund their accounts before arriving in Las Vegas and be ready to play throughout the series.

WSOP also hosts official online bracelet events on WSOP. com throughout the summer, as well as daily satellite qualifiers and Main Event satellites starting at $1 as part of the "Road to Las Vegas" qualifiers. These are a good way to qualify for events with a smaller buy-in. WSOP. com also offers several other qualification options before and during the series.

WSOP. com sent 450 qualifiers to the Main Event in 2023, but WSOP. com officials hope to surpass that this year. Each night of the series, WSOP. com will also host a mega satellite with one guaranteed seat to the bracelet event the following day.

Players in the international online poker market also have plenty of opportunities to qualify for the WSOP. GGPoker is the official online satellite operator for players outside the U. S. (including GG Skins). GG's "Road to Las Vegas 2024" qualifiers will begin in the coming weeks, with some early satellites going live shortly.

Full qualifiers will be awarded travel packages and tournament entries, and are expected to go live by early spring. The platform's WSOP Super Circuit online tournament series is also currently running on Natural8, where players can win Road to Vegas qualifier tickets and $12, 000 WSOP full packages in random ticket drops at tournament tables. These drops even include $10, 000 Main Event seats and accommodations in Las Vegas.

Casino Information

For those heading to Las Vegas, you might need some general knowledge of what to expect at the Horseshoe and Paris casinos. Both casinos are located on the Las Vegas Strip. Players can view the WSOP final table, TV sets, and staging inside the Horseshoe, while the main cage and cashiers are located at the Paris.

The two buildings are connected and share parking, so it's very easy to travel between the two facilities.

Registration, Payment, & Payouts

For players visiting the WSOP, there are several registration options. Here are those and other necessary information.

  • Online and Mobile Registration - To avoid long lines and crowds, WSOP officials encourage players to use the online/mobile registration process at www. BravoPokerLive. com. Players who register online must visit the Champagne Ballroom at Le Centre Des Conventions in Paris Las Vegas to have their ID verified.

Once their ID is verified, players can select their event online through Bravo, print their seat card using self-service kiosks located inside the Paris and Horseshoe convention centers, and head directly to their table. For in-person registration, the main registration area will be located in the Champagne Ballroom, with additional stations at main registration and the VIP cage.

  • In-person Registration - The main registration area will be located in the Champagne Ballroom, with additional stations at main registration and the VIP cage this year. Registration opens at 9 a. m. on May 28 and runs from 6:30 a. m. to 5 a. m. each day, with a 90-minute break from 5 a. m. to 6:30 a. m. Players must bring a valid photo ID, Caesars Rewards card and tournament entry fee.
  • Payment Methods - Players may pay by cash, credit card, debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express), cashier's check drawn on the player's authorized bank account, wire transfer, or Paris or Horseshoe casino chips.

Payments by credit and debit cards incur additional fees and players must have a valid ID matching the cardholder's name. Bravo and/or WSOP tournament accounts may also be used to pay for tournament entries. Players who wish to pay by wire transfer should open a Bravo Poker Live account.

  • WSOP Tournament Account - Players may fund their account using cash or casino chips. Tournament winnings may also be deposited into the tournament account.

Players may open an account at the main cage in the Champagne Ballroom. Players may then register for tournaments online or via mobile through Bravo Poker Live and print their seat cards at the on-site kiosks.

  • Caesars Rewards - Rewards cards are required to participate in the event, and sign-up is located near the main cage and VIP registration cage in the Champagne Ballroom. Caesars Rewards kiosks are also located throughout the tournament area and are available for players who need to reprint their cards.
  • Payouts - Players who cash in at the event can collect their winnings at the main cage in the Champagne Ballroom. Payouts will be made in the form of cash, wire transfer, casino chips, check, WSOP tournament account, or Bravo account.

Important Things to Remember for Players Outside the U.S.

International players have a few other important requirements to consider when planning their trip to the WSOP. Participating players must bring a valid government-issued photo ID with a current address, a secondary form of identification with an address, such as a driver's license, signed rental contract, utility bill, or cell phone bill. Players who reside outside the United States must also bring a valid passport.

Winners must submit a valid photo ID, and anyone who wins $5, 000 off the event buy-in must also fill out a tax form. Those who do not have a taxpayer identification number and foreign players from countries with which we do not have a tax treaty may be subject to up to 30% withholding tax.

Schedules, events, start and end times, and event locations are subject to change. Tournament chips are not redeemable for cash.

Hotel Booking

There are many hotels to choose from when staying in Las Vegas. However, those staying at the Horseshoe and Paris, as well as other Caesars Entertainment properties, can get discounts on their hotel rates by using the special advance booking code "WSOP24".

Environment Considerations

People heading to Las Vegas should be aware that it can get very hot during the summer months and plan accordingly. Sunglasses and sunscreen are useful when walking the Strip or venturing away from the poker table. Lip balm is also recommended, as the Las Vegas desert has a dry climate.

On the other hand, temperatures within the tournament area are quite low, so a jacket or hoodie is also useful. There are several stores and pharmacies along the Strip where you can purchase daily necessities.

Streaming

PokerGO returns as the official live streaming and production partner of the WSOP. Throughout the summer, PokerGO will stream the WSOP's gold bracelet events, including live coverage of the 2024 WSOP Main Event, on PokerGO. com and other platforms.

The full streaming schedule will be announced soon. In addition, PokerGO will produce new WSOP episodes and broadcast them on CBS Sports, the exclusive domestic television broadcaster of the WSOP. They will also regularly broadcast the WSOP internationally.

WSOP 2024 Main Event

The WSOP Main Event is the crown jewel of the series, held with a buy-in of $10, 000. In 2023, it set a very high bar by breaking records for attendance, total prize money, and first place prize money. That's why there were high expectations for the 2024 tournament.

The main event in 2024 has recorded a record of the number of spectators in 2023 and gathered 10, 112 players, the largest in WSOP history. The total prize was the largest over $ 94 million in history.

However, due to the change in the payout mechanism, Jonathan Tamayo, who finally won, gained $ 10, 000, 000, so the record of the maximum payout recorded in 2023 was not updated.

WSOP Event #89: $3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship No-Limit Hold’em

Even if a player who abstained from the main event wants to participate in this event, a new fou r-day event with $ 3, 000 and 40, 000 stacks has started on July 11.

WSOP Standout Events

While the Main Event is undoubtedly the series' signature attraction, the WSOP would feel incomplete without timeless classics like Millionaire Maker, Colossus, and Monster Stack, as well as more recent favorites like Mystery Millions and Gladiators of Poker.

These events consistently attract some of the largest entrants in the series, even surpassing the Main Event in attendance. Their popularity is due to their low buy-ins, weekend dates, multiple flights, and easy accessibility, allowing for re-entry. As expected, these popular events have returned for the 2024 series.

WSOP Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions

For Mystery Bounty enthusiasts, Mystery Millions is a can't-miss tournament. Introduced in 2022, the tournament adopted the popular Mystery Bounty format and quickly became a staple of the summer series. Last year marked a milestone as the largest-ever $1, 000 buy-in event, attracting more than 18, 000 entrants and a total prize pool of more than $16 million.

In 2024, the event attracted 18, 409 entrants with a prize pool of $16. 2 million. The first place prize was $1 million, won by Malcolm Trainor.

WSOP Event #54: $1,500 Millionaire Maker

Millionaire Maker is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the series, and for good reason. Since its inception in 2013, the tournament has always delivered on its promise of creating millionaires.

In 2024, the event attracted 10, 939 runners with a prize pool of $14, 603, 565. The winner, Franco Spitale, took home just over $1. 25 million.

WSOP Event #20: $300 Gladiators of Poker

Due to popular demand, Gladiators of Poker is back in 2024. The event is the cheapest bracelet event on the schedule, with an entry fee of just $300.

The 2024 tournament had a guaranteed prize pool of $3 million.

The guarantee generated a prize pool of over $5 million from 20, 647 entries, with winner Stephen Winters taking home $401, 200.

WSOP Event #70: $400 Colossus

Known for its huge turnout, the Colossus had a buy-in of $400. Though less popular, it still attracted over 15, 000 entrants and a total prize pool of over $5 million.

In 2024, The Colossus lived up to expectations again, attracting 19, 303 entrants and a total prize pool of over $6. 3 million. Winner Martin Alkaide took home just over $500, 000.

WSOP Event #38: $1,500 Monster Stack

Monster Stack was also a highly anticipated event for players looking to win a big prize pool. The event had a buy-in of $1500 and attracted 8, 703 entries for a prize pool of $11. 6 million. Pedro Neves was the last man standing in the event, winning $1. 1 million.

WSOP Payout Structure Changed for 2024

WSOP has made changes to the payout structure for the 2024 series. The minimum prize for most bracelet events is now double the buy-in. For example, a bracelet event with a buy-in of $1, 000 had a minimum prize of $2, 000.

WSOP has a new payout calculator on its website. The calculator shows the payouts for all bracelet events, in addition to the daily and weekly deep-stack events. If there are any changes to the payout structure for the 2025 WSOP, the calculator will be adjusted accordingly.

The Main Event was not included in the payout changes, as it still offers players a prize of 1. 5 times their buy-in. It also maintained its payout structure for 15% of participants.

However, the WSOP tweaked how it distributed prize money to players at the final table after criticism from the previous year.

The first place prize for the Main Event was reduced from $12 million to $10 million, but every player who made it to the final table was guaranteed to walk away a millionaire.

As a result, Jonathan Tamayo, the winner of the 2024 Main Event, took home "only" $10 million, despite winning against the largest Main Event field in the series' history.

WSOP 2024 Online Satellites and Qualifiers

The 2024 World Series of Poker had various online satellites running for several months before the tournament began.

Players who could play at WSOP Online (New Jersey, Michigan, and Nevada) or WSOP PA (Pennsylvania) could take advantage of daily qualifiers, with satellites to the main event starting at just $1.
