Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) is a form of addiction treatment that focuses on the period after treatment when people are most likely to relapse. MBRP applies the concept of mindfulness to help people manage the urges that get in the way of abstinence and moderation. In this workshop, Dr. Kraus, a researcher and clinician, will be the instructor and explore the utility of MBRP for clients with gambling addiction.

- Apply mindfulness-based relapse prevention in practice.

Despite the r e-classification of gambling disorders in 2013 in 2013, medical insurance companies have excluded the treatment of gambling disorders from insurance coverage. Furthermore, the Federal and State Disability Discrimination Prohibitions are uniformly excluded gambling disorders from the definition of disability. Dr. Tobino detailed the survey results on this unrest situation, and proposes a method for gambling world to correct this situation.

In video games, a loot box is a consumable item and a virtual item that can be redeemed. Research has shown that there is a relevance between participation in a loot box and gambling issues. However, the causal relationship is unknown. Dr. Clark reports a vertical study that tracks the transition from video games to gambling.

- Describe the similarities and differences between loot boxes and gambling.

Lottery purchasing is widespread among adolescents. One study found that lottery purchasing among this demographic leads to later gambling problems. Dr. Zai will report on this research and suggest ways to address this issue.

ICRG introduces new research on gambling disorders and responsible gambling in poster sessions and receptions held at the ICRG conference. This event is an opportunity for researchers to report empirical research and discuss the results with the attendees. Every year, the committee selects the excellent poster award and a good work.

Abstracts Due August 15, 2023
Posters can focus on all aspects of gambling disorders and responsible gambling, and need to report empirical research. Abstracts are examined for scientific validity.
SUBJECT MATTER
Use the MS Word® or other warproppertail for the abstract, and submit the font size in an electronic file with a 12pt or less. At that time, specify the following information:
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
-Aspai d-Author name and affiliatio n-the first author's email addres s-Poster summary (within 500 characters). Please follow the APA format for the text and references. Abstracts should be described: -Samples and methods, preliminary knowledge, suggestions in this field, and research on people or animals included in the abstracts will be a guidance policy on the Helsinki World Medical Association. And the digital signature of the first author to prove that it complies with the principle.
When submitting a poster, at least one author must attend the academic society and agree to participate in the poster session on October 8. You cannot be the first author of multiple topics.
The abstract will be accepted sequentially until August 15, 2023. Please send the abstract to CHRISTINE REILLY (CREILLY @Icrg. org). For more information and questions, up to 978-338-6610.
