PokerStars joins forces with Women Who Code as first gambling partner

PokerStars has officially partnered with Women Who Code, the largest and most active global community for women in technology.

Women Who Code is dedicated to empowering women in technology by working with industry leaders to redefine the talent pipeline. They support intentional, strategic and impactful diversity and inclusion programs, creating pathways for women to assume leadership roles in companies and the larger community.

As a community partner, PokerStars will participate in Women Who Code newsletters, social media posts, blog posts and events.

Rebecca McAdam Willetts (Associate Director of Group Public Relations) said: "We are proud to officially become the first gambling partner of Women Who Code. NetBet Extends Its Danish Reach with Multiple Gaming Partnerships

The famous European gambling brand Netbet has a license from Denmark's gambling authorities (SpillemyNDIGHEDEN) in late February 2024, and has expanded its global reach in one of the most developed Internet game markets in Europe. NetBet Platform has partnered with Denmark's Game of Chance enthusiasts with Razor Returns, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus and other titles to provide titles such as Razor Returns, Gates of Olympus.

Although NetBet's entry into this area was favorably welcomed, this operator, headquartered in Malta, immediately connects multiple game partnerships with hig h-quality game suppliers who have established excellent positions in the industry. So, I tried to further strengthen the established momentum.

In late March 2024, PLAYSON, one of the fastest digital entertainment suppliers in the world, is partnered with NetBet Denmark and through various selections with famous mechanics like Hold and Win. He said that he would supply the growth of the operator.

One week after the contract with PLAYSON, NetBet DenMark's PR manager Claudia Georgevici has announced that it is currently trading with 1x2 Network. One day (April 5), two new NetBet providers' contracts were announced between Amusnet Gaming and G Games. The former is a digital category of the real stor e-type supplier EGT, which boasts more than 200 game catalogs, and the latter is a successful slot creator like El Diablo, Thor's Egg Hunt, Cheeky Fruits 6 Deluxe.

Online casinos, sports betting, and poker operators concluded a contract with Sweden's Nolimit City, Malta's Play'n Go, Stakelogic and Wazdan, and ended in April.

Danish online gambling market

In 2012, Denmark chose to regulate interactive games and sports betting on the Internet through the Gambling Law, and established a national monopoly in the field by Denmark National Lottery. At this time, Denmark Gambling authorities, known as SpillemyNDIGEDEN, were born.

Since 2012, Denmark has become one of the most booming gaming areas in Europe, and Danish Gambling Authority has increased its gambling rate by 7 % in the first ten years since the Danish industry existed. Most of this increase has occurred in the Internet field. Thank you to Reshma Saujani for inviting me to do this work. I was interested in the mission (https://lnkd. in/gyRChUD8). I was interested because I work to give back all the privilege I have had. I was interested as a parent of two daughters who have been blessed with endless opportunities and encouragement and support. But it was Reshma that made me jump in. Your vision and ambition are so powerful and needed. Thank you for thinking I have something to contribute. My board work was focused on the program. This work and these girls inspire me. GwC's clubs and summer institute programs spark interest, support exploration, and develop skills. GwC creates community on college campuses and promotes mentorship in the job search. We track everything, and the results have helped young women stay on the STEM path and get tech jobs. What I've learned is that GwC is more than code. GwC is about beliefs, community, and role models. And then there's Dr. Tarika Barrett and team. Tarika is as powerful an operator as you'll find anywhere. ":" Of the STEM workers, only 2 % of the black women, from the business leadership point of view, a black woman out of the 500 Fortune 500 companies. Only two companies are concerned about the statistics, especially in the US Labor Statistics Bureau, given that STEM jobs are growing more than four times. The organization is more diverse and a black girl cord. He indicates that black girls are actually for themselves, not only in putting them in the room, but also convincing that they are in the room. • It's great that SHIPITCON has expressed his support here! It is common for technical companies to want to improve#gender representatives with a #womenintech topic. Here is the opportunity to play a part! A few years ago, this article by Abbey One Back really resonated: https://lnkd. in/gp2z5tcb Especially: I don't believe it when the organization tells me who I am. Please. Seeing the history of supporting the "heterogeneous" group, the leader of the minority group hired at the highest level, and how much they are paying. Rather than being distracted by the flags of BlacklivesMatter, #Pride,#Women's'STORYMONTH,#EARTHDAY flags, we want you to affect the budget, leader list, profit report, and environment. The flag does not tell you what your family, company, school, and the country are. A newsletter like Tech Meetup and Coding Grace is an excellent way to share expertise and insights and connect people in a group with low social status. It is really important to support people who are spending time and effort in volunteers!

• Did you know that in 1995, 37% of computer science majors were women? Today, it’s only 24%. If we don’t do anything, this percentage will continue to decline. What we know is that the largest drop in girls in computer science occurs between the ages of 13 and 17. As a proud immigrant, U. S. citizen, mother, computer science major, and woman in technology, Girls Who Code’s mission is deeply personal to me. Girls Who Code’s mission and my personal passion for this issue is why I recently joined Girls Who Code’s board of directors and why I am committed to supporting the goal of eliminating gender disparity in entry-level tech jobs by 2030. Thank you, Reshma Saujani, Dr. Tarika Barrett, and Carol Donovan Jewell, for your unwavering support. Looking at my daughter, Maya, I know that engaging girls and women in technology unlocks immense opportunities. But this effort takes all of us! It takes a shift in mindset of what a tech leader looks like, addressing long-standing systemic inequities, practicing active and intentional sponsorship, and lifting us up to rise. Coding ability is an essential skill for anyone trying to keep up with the changes in the tech industry. To help more girls get started on this path, Black Girls Code launched Code Along Jr., a free online coding academy for girls ages 7-10. Taught by Candy Cane Lane child star Kalani Jewel, Code Along Jr. is a series of six video tutorials designed to spark girls' interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. Black Girls Code is on a mission to nurture early interest in technology among Black girls and address the lack of computer science education in U. S. schools.
