We are looking for those who want to work with us as a volunteer advice assistant and are good at organizing. Volunteer and volunteer managers will help you recruit and accept volunteers so that you can have a positive experience. As a volunteer, we welcome any ideas how we can improve our process.

Your role will be placed in a volunteer team that forms a part of our central people. I work at home, but I have the opportunity to participate in a team meeting held in Birmingham and London every month. Transportation expenses are paid.

  • The Child and Youth Mentor will work within the Child and Youth team to provide services related to children and young people affected by domestic violence and abuse.

  • Be aware of the impact of domestic abuse on young people and families and develop the ability to show empathy and understanding and adopt a trauma-informed approach when working with these families.
  • Support and facilitate groups in schools and the community with a focus on healthy relationships, spotting red flags etc.

Work flexibly in a range of locations including schools, colleges and community centres depending on the needs of young people.
